Gilligan's Island!

So yesterday we felt like we were the Gilligan's Island crew! So many of our memories revolve around great food up here in Northern Michigan, we thought we would change it up and make new memories that have nothing to do with food! We rented a pontoon boat and did the inland waterway- Crooked Lake, Crooked River, Burt Lake, Indian River, and Mullet Lake. We had a great adventure! It was a beautiful day. At 4:00 we had an adventure that will definitely be a memory that has nothing to do with food! We hit a storm on the open water that had us all praying for Jesus to calm the waters. The rain was so hard that it hurt our eyes and Jay could barely see 2 feet in front of him. We were all soaking wet, wrapped in towels and sitting on top of each other to be under the canopy on the boat. When it was all said and done, we could laugh! But we think we might just stick to the memories of food!

Torrey and Grace look happy as can be in the photo you posted on your blog site yesterday! When you were navigating Burt Lake, you were within hollerin' distance of the Gaunt family watering hole, Douglas Lake. Enjoy the remaining days of your vacation!
Please send Jay's preferred e-mail address so I can update you on progress with grantseeking strategy.
Thanks -- Joe Gaunt
