Here’s a thought for this Valentine’s Day:

You can give without loving, but you cannot love without giving.

Tell us ways in which you “give” to the one you love by clicking on "comment" below.

Hi Laura,
Oh yes, that thought is so true!!
One cute little thing I do for my hubby Dan is...I write love notes in the newspaper to him. :) I like to draw hearts and x's and o's.

Happy Valentine's Day to you and Jay. :)

My husband tells me he loves me by tucking me in each morning as he leaves for work. He kisses me goodbye and makes sure I'm all warm and cozy.

He's the best husband!!

Jay & Laura,

My grandfather would always say "the 'bonds' of matrimony aren't worth much unless the 'interest' is kept up"! Coming from the investment world this means a lot. Keep up the great work in helping marriages from bankruptcy.

Have a great day!! D B

I give to my husband by acknowledging him as head of the household. Ive quit challenging him even when he is less than right and I trust God to deal with him when he is wrong. Talk about Peace like a river! I was not born this way but have been changed.

I think my husband gives so much to me. He makes me breakfast most mornings as I leave for work before he does. The sweetest thing he did recently was to rub hand lotion on my "sooooo" dry hands. I didn't ask for it, he just did it because he loves me. What kindness!
